About Me
I've been building websites since 1994, professionally since 2002. In my current position I write code and manage projects. I work with business users and developers to come up with the best solutions for improving our websites in terms of performance, scalability and usability. I've also organized and lead several internal trainings for other PHP developers throughout the company.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Technology and Technical Writing from Utah State University. While obtaining this degree I received training on various technologies currently in use for developing educational software and resources. The technical writing courses I took focused on writing clear, easy to follow instruction sets and editing existing documents.
In my previous job with the Utah State 4-H Office, I provided training for other staff, volunteers and youth around the topics of GPS, GIS and web development topics. I provided leadership to teams of youth whose goal it was to encourage use of technology more broadly in 4-H at both the state and national levels. I also built and maintained the Utah 4-H Website.
